All shipping container sales through BuyShippingContainerUSA.com are considered final once the order is confirmed and payment is processed. This is due to the following reasons:

Containers are sourced and allocated specifically for each order.
Delivery logistics are arranged upon order confirmation.
Re-routing or canceling delivery incurs significant costs from third-party carriers.
Used containers vary by condition and are sold as described at the time of sale.

✅ Exceptions — When Returns May Be Considered

While all sales are generally final, we may consider a return or refund in the following limited circumstances:

🚚 Delivery Inspection — Your Responsibility

When your shipping container is delivered, it is your responsibility to inspect it before signing the delivery receipt. Please follow these steps:

Inspect Before Signing

Walk around the entire container. Check walls, roof, doors, floor, and seals for any visible damage or discrepancies.

Document Everything

Take clear photos and videos of the container from all angles, including any damage, markings, or issues you notice.

Note Issues on the Bill of Lading

If there is damage, write it on the delivery paperwork before signing. Do not sign a clean receipt for a damaged container.

Contact Us Within 48 Hours

⚠️ Signing the delivery receipt without noting damage may make it difficult for us to process a claim on your behalf. Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

❌ Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are not eligible for returns or refunds under any circumstances:

Change of mind after order confirmation or delivery.
Inability to receive the container due to site access issues (low clearance, soft ground, narrow roads, permits, etc.).
Normal wear and tear on used/WWT/CW-grade containers that was disclosed at time of sale.
Surface rust, dents, or cosmetic imperfections on used containers that are consistent with their graded condition.
Containers that have been modified, painted, welded, or altered after delivery.
Damage caused during customer-arranged transportation after handoff.
Incorrect measurements ordered by the customer (e.g. ordering 20ft when 40ft was needed).

💳 Cancellation & Deposit Policy

If you need to cancel an order, the following terms apply:

Cancellation Timing	Refund Amount
Within 24 hours of order placement (container not dispatched)	Full refund minus 3% payment processing fee
After 24 hours but before container is dispatched	Refund minus 15% restocking/admin fee
After container has been dispatched for delivery	No refund. Delivery and return freight costs apply.
After delivery and acceptance	No refund. All sales are final.

You will receive written confirmation via email once your refund request has been reviewed and approved.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

Bank Processing

Your bank or card provider may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the refund to your account.
