Key details: Twenty-two feet of gooseneck equipment deck with mini King Kong ramps and a dovetail, on tandem 7,000 lb Dexter axles. King Kong ramps are the heavy pattern — wide, braced and spring-assisted, designed to carry tracked machines rather than just wheeled ones. The mini version is shorter and lighter to handle while keeping the same load rating, which on a dovetail trailer is the sensible pairing: the dovetail has already done most of the work of lowering the approach angle.
